Have you ever heard someone say, "He sure doesn't act like a Christian." Or perhaps, "She doesn't talk like a follower of Jesus." Just what does the Bible have to say about how we are to act and speak when we profess to belong to Christ? Join Pastor Joe Hooten in person or via Zoom at:
WHAT TO EXPECT
It's normal to be a little apprehensive about attending any church.
However, chances are you'll feel right at home at Mound Chapel. That's because we keep things fairly simple and there's no pressure.
Feel free to wear anything from jeans and a t-shirt to a suit and tie, because you'll likely see both when you come. We'll greet you at the door and do our our best to make sure you never feel out of place.
Our music is fairly traditional, but we do incorporate contemporary music as well. Most importantly, you'll hear an easy to understand message that will give you practical ways to make your life better at both work and home every day of the week.
For your convenience we have a fun and safe place for kids 10 and under while you enjoy the service. There's also a nursery you can use and still see and hear everything that's going on. Of course, you're more than welcome to bring your children into the service with you if you prefer.
There's an informal time of donuts and discussion beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Our Sunday service begins at 10:15 a.m. and usually lasts about an hour.

Faith, Family, and Fun at Mound Chapel
At Mound Chapel we keep things pretty simple. We Love God. We Love Others. Jesus tells us everything else hangs on getting those two things right. We also have a lot of fun along the way. Whether it's our VBS, Fall Family Day, Potluck Dinners, Outreach to the Community, or just hanging out together, Mound Chapel is a place you can feel welcome, included, and loved.
Love God. Love Others.
